The humans in this loop shouldn’t serve to simply approve outputs. They must decide, in real time, whether the agent has earned the right to keep operating. That is a fundamentally different job than rubber-stamping a workflow, but most enterprises have not designed for it yet.

Agentic AI is the future of enterprise infrastructure. The question is not whether organizations will adopt it; they already are. The question is whether they will be able to deploy it at the scale the technology actually allows.
For most enterprises today, the answer is no. Not because the technology is not ready, but because the organization is not. Agents are running in production, but governance is fragmented across functions that cannot see each other's work.
